Welcome to the Moody Family Reunion Website
Our mission is to honor the legacy of the Moody family and provide a central source of information about upcoming family reunions, news, and special events.
We are the proud descendants of Anderson and Eva Jane Moody of North and South Carolina. Anderson and Eva had nine children—six daughters and three sons. While the Moody family name was not carried forward, their legacy continues through the descendants of their daughters.

The Moody Family Reunion was first held in 1981 in Lumberton, North Carolina, where we continue to gather annually. Our roots trace back to Dillon, South Carolina, just 20 miles south of our home base in Lumberton.

The Moody Family Reunion will be hosted in the vibrant city of Greenville, SC.
Greenville is a thriving city nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in South Carolina. Known for its charming downtown, bustling arts scene, and beautiful outdoor spaces, Greenville offers something for everyone.
With a growing economy and rich Southern charm, Greenville has become a destination city. Its award-winning downtown features Falls Park on the Reedy, home to the iconic Liberty Bridge and stunning waterfalls right in the heart of the city. Visitors can enjoy boutique shopping, gourmet dining, and cultural experiences such as the Peace Center for the Performing Arts and the Greenville County Museum of Art.
For outdoor enthusiasts, Greenville boasts the Swamp Rabbit Trail, a 22-mile greenway that connects downtown with surrounding areas. Nearby, Paris Mountain State Park offers hiking, biking, and fishing opportunities for the whole family.

The Moody Family Reunion will be held at the Hyatt Regency Greenville.
A block of rooms has been secured at the Hyatt Regency Greenville, located in the heart of downtown. Room options include spacious accommodations starting at $155 per night for both King and Double Queen rooms. Please note that room rates do not include applicable taxes and hotel fees.
Hotel amenities include complimentary Wi-Fi, a fitness center, and access to the hotel’s on-site restaurant and bar. The Hyatt Regency is also conveniently located steps away from Greenville’s vibrant downtown, offering access to Falls Park on the Reedy, local shops, and an array of dining and entertainment options.

2025 Reunion Fees
The registration fees for the 2025 Moody Family Reunion are as follows:
- Adults (Ages 17 and Up): $70.00
- Teens (Ages 13 – 16): $45.00
- Children (Ages 6 – 12): $25.00
- Children (Ages 0 – 5): Free
Please ensure all registration fees are submitted along with the completed registration form by June 21st, 2025. For any questions regarding the reunion, please contact the MFR committee chair, Raneesha Ford.
